Sheree Campbell, PhD

I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing supportive and empowering psychotherapy to adults in Bellingham, WA (license #60926688). I also provide online therapy to Washington residents. I earned my doctorate from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology where my training and studies integrated Western and Eastern approaches to psychotherapy and research. My studies focused on the teachings of Carl G. Jung, the father of transpersonal psychology, as well as creative expression.

I came into the psychology profession from a journey of my own self-exploration and interest in personal growth. Not only do I find great meaning in creating space for those who are working towards their own healing and finding their strength in the face of life’s challenges, I am also deeply fulfilled by supporting those who are striving to learn and grow from, and make sense of their life’s journey.

I also have a deep interest and research experience in the imagination, especially the power of story and myth to facilitate life transitions. I believe the imagination is essential for growth and connection to soul, and that story, myth, and other creative expression is especially conducive to speaking the language of the soul, as well as articulating the human experience.

In addition, I believe in fostering and deepening one’s relationship with nature for I feel that mind-body-spirit health is incomplete if it ignores the larger context that is the natural world. Also, nature’s patterns and rhythms offer alternative creative perspectives to life’s joys and challenges.

I also have degrees in mathematics and photography in addition to my psychology degree.
